2019 Acadia Auto Folding Mirrors.

Hello all. I just took possession of a 2019 Acadia LTZ-V in Australia. Of course called Holden here rather than GMC. For some reason, GMC decided to omit the Auto folding mirrors when you lock the car on the Australian model?? I have NO idea why, there is everything else that opens and shuts on it but not folding mirrors!

Anyway, I am fairly good with automotive electrics and I was wondering if anyone has the knowledge and or experience on purchasing the motors or actutors for the mirrors from the US and fitting them into my car?

Is it as simple as installing the actuators and wiring them up?

Would apprecaite any guidance.

I think the complete mirrors would be required.

I'd be interested in finding out if/how you get it worked out. My 2019 Denali does not have that feature either...

Well I ordered the two motors from Amazon believe it or not. I looked at the GMC site. It was going to cost me over $500.00 Australian Dolloars to get them here.... So Forget that. I got the part number and did a google search and believe it or not, they were listed here in Aust. On amazon for $95.00 AUD free shipping to Aust. So I jumped on them. I am waiting for them to arrive. When they do, I will give it a go and let you know if it was succesful or whether there are more parts needed.

Tony311 - how did this work out in the end? I'm in the same boat as you - can't believe there are no electric folding mirrors on Australian Holden Acadias. Was going down the same line of thinking as you when I saw your post. Would really like to hear how it worked out for you.
