I've read through many other posts & it appears that the 'Blend Door Actuator' may be the culprit.

However, before I make the purchase & swap it out, here's the situation:

- When selected, The air fluctuates from vents to floor, defrost, etc. No problem.

- However, there is no heat on passenger side. Just Cold Air.

- Heat blows fine in the rear cabin.

Is there anything else that could cause this issue?

I know it seems fairly cut & dry, but I've learned quickly that this Acadia has a lot of twists & turns.

I bought it a month ago.

Its most likely one of the blend door actuators. i cant say which one it is but it should be on the passenger side

Thanks. It appears to be a bit of pain to get to the bolts but definitely something I can handle.

Please do let the forum know how you proceed. It would be great to have a few pictures for future readers to see where and how to get to it.
There have been some pictures here in the forum of it. . . but all "close" up so that a reader can not see starting from a distance what side under the dash it is on. . . and then a few shots of what needs to be removed to get at and undo the bolts and wire connector.

Here's a video I watched that lets me know the headache that it can be.

I ordered the actuator & a flexible bit driver to assist in the repair.

Once that comes in, & I'm physically able to get my old bones in the floorboard, I'll see what I can do.

But yes, That's a good idea. The forum helps us & we should help the forum.
