Hello all
I have a 2009 Acadia slt with the 3.6 with 160k I try to do my own work but this thing has a mind of it's own long story short a few months back i started having trouble with it intermittently not starting had the battery tested it was on its last leg replaced it still same problem tested alternator replaced it still had the problem replace the starter seemed to help for a bit but the problem came back I can get it to start every day for a week and then it wont I am into this thing for around a grand now and pulling my hair out really need some help

Just to rule it out.
Find the CRNK relay.
Find the rear defroster relay.
They should be the same number.
Swap them.
See if the starting is fixed.
When the relay goes bad it may not crank at all or starter may click but not turn.
Or click, the pause then crank.

Find the wiring connector under the vehicle under the driver's seat. Make sure it is fully seated and that you don't see any damage. It pushes upward towards the bottom of the vehicle to connect, and others have posted about it working its way slightly loose over time. It definitely helped when our 08 was doing similar things.
