Am I alone? Does A/C automatically turn on for the entire cabin?

I was near the beach and thermostat indicated 89 degrees...I know it was not that warm. The A/C continued to turn on for the entire cabin (front and back). I had a difficult time keeing it off.

Thank you

There are issues with the temperature readings (search for other thread with 5 pages of posts).

However, to shut down the climate controls, all you have to do is depress the Off/On button on the lower left of the panel. The button above (top left) disengages the "auto-temp" feature. The rear can also be disengaged up front (upper right button) or by the knob in the controls at the rear of the driver middle armrest.

If these switches are not acting as described in the owner's manual, then you have more issues than just the temperature gauge.
