Towing performance upgrades

We have a 2015 AWD Acadia. I am wondering what, if any, performance upgrades are recommended, have actually provided results, and what you all recommend. Vehicle is loaded SLT 2 with factory tow pack. Thanks in advance.

What are you looking to do beyond that which the vehicle is designed to do?

Same question as Speleos. What are you trying to accomplish?

Nothing more than optimize fuel mileage and towing performance. Not looking to gain massive hp just want to know if there are any worthwhile mods that actually help chips, exhaust etc.....

I don't believe you'll find a 'magic elixir' to help out with fuel economy while towing anything, except to always tow with the wind at your back.

So all I wanted to know is if someone has thrown a chip or exhaust or a k&n filter on and seen a positive increase in fuel economy even one or two gpm. Obviously there isn't a magic whatever but thanks

I'm sure some owners have attempted such changes but generally do not frequent this forum.

K&N filters are mostly snake oil and can do more harm than good by folks that over oil the filter.

An exhaust may help if you replace the ENTIRE exhaust, including high flow cats. If you are thinking about just a cat back system, that buys you nothing.

You could certainly add a tune but not sure you would get the desired results.

Your best bang for the buck would be to send the '15 up the road and get a '19.

and/or downhill.

Yes, if there was a magic mpg improvement it would already be in use by everybody else.
