Lightbulb Acadia had a Birthday

Gotta say, for all the little Gremlins my Acadia is one great wagon!!!

Thinking this milestone might be worth all new brakes all the way around. Not in dire need but, feel she deserves something!!!

I did just install a Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller for her though!!!

Ten year anniversary......you have to do something.

My other is 12 years+ and recently took care of one small door ding and stone chips. 143,000 and drive year round in Wisconsin. Ziebart rust proofed and under coated when new w 4 snow tires. My car is a Black Mustang. Biggest expense was new suspension components 4 years ago, by local family owned front end shop. Back to driving a slot car again. You don't know what competition slot car racing was, back in the mid to late 60's? GEES.

14', FWD, SLT-1, Navigation, Ziebart Rust Protected & Undercoated - 19" Michelin Defender LTX M/S - Silver Club #7, SLT-1 Club #37. 56,000 mi - Top Tier Gasoline, Techron, Synthetic Oil

Our local slot-car track, Tom Thumb Raceway, was a big hit in my neck of the woods back in the day. I got the motor rewound, put sticky tires and a sleeper body (Pontiac Gran Prix) on it, but never got to run the darned thing. Someone stole it!!

lol......It was so long ago, I forgot what car I had. My foreman at the time, had a homemade hinged upright suitcase with 6 bays and cars, plus array of tools. He was the one to get our club going. Ya, sticky tires...too funny, Our track was 4 lanes and banked. Wow, you souped up the motor! lol Mine ran stock with a little wider tires on the rear. I lasted one month.
Sorry off topic.

I miss Slot car Racing, there used to be a local place here where I spent many an evening racing cars. I still don't know what happened to the tracks after the place folded. Probably in somebodies basement.
