On gmautobuilder.com and the GM Supplier Discount link into gmautobuilder.com, perforated leather-appointed seat trim on first and second rows now has no extra cost. I'm sure perforated-appointed leather heated and cooled seats used to cost $650 MSRP. I don't see any changes at http://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/NASApp/domestic/proddesc.jsp?year=2010&butID=1®ionID=1&divisionID=2&vehicleID=8679&type=0(KB6) heated and cooled front seats is still listed as available on SLT-2. Hmmm.

I guess they figured it was ridiculous to charge $$ for making holes in leather.

It's a hot/cool option! For someone who has never experienced it before...I died and gone to heaven.

I am confused, with this option is it just the front seats that are heated and cooled and the second row is nothing?

Speleos Thanks, thought for $650 they would at least put the heat feature in the second row, thought I had read that someplace but guess they were wrong. Did not have a lot of choice in the buyback swap 2010, it was either one totally loaded (with another sunroof I had no taste for with the leaks) or a stripper, or a maybe 8 weeks or so order period. Getting tired of taking the shop vac out to dewater the floors on my 2007. Was looking for a 2010 SLT2 repeating silver/silver with the DVD entertainmant in the back, any of those on the ground or nearly on the ground had the cooled seats. I have them in my Lincoln MKZ and love them in the Gulf Coast summers but my wife does not. Oh well, close enough. When I talked with my Service Manager he was doing the formal buyback paperwork on my 2007 Acadia up on the deal, he says they want to have it done by 12/31, hopefully all will continue proceeding and this will be concluded.

jrc50, sorry you had so much trouble with your '07 - mine has been wonderful! With regard to the second row seats, I couldn't see anyone designing something with electric or a/c hookups on an item that folks would remove, fold, bend, spindle and mutilate like some people are prone to do to the middle row. I thought it was great enough that they put the captains chairs on sliding rails for passenger comfort. Hope you get the deal done for the New Year.

My father-in-laws Yukon Denali has heated second row and they fold... I was kinds disappointed to find the Acadia did not have this on the SL2...

MedicRxDoc The Denali description reads the same at the current 2010 Acadia description, heated and cooled driver and passenger seats, so probably not.

When you switch the cooled seats on you can hear a fan motor and hear air flow. When you press the button again the fan changes speed. When it’s switched on it kind of feels like your pants are wet. You know like, swimsuit wet. When it summer and 110 degrees inside it will feel great.

I'm envious; cooled seats weren't an option in 07, but I did have the opportunity to drive a Lincoln MKX--very nice

I read somewhere on a forum (might have been the ENCLAVE) that the customer thought the seats were more uncomfortable because of the extra cooling stuff, did anyone else see that? Maybe I'm

Right; I was asking about the 08; I think it was an option but only for SLT-2 trim levels and wasn't available for the SLT-1 trim level

Pretty sure I'm right and you're wrong You may be right; can anyone here give a definitive answer to our dilemma? Were cooled seats available as an option in model year 08? I say it was an option (not standard) only available with the SLT-2 trim level. Mikemu says no cooled seats were not available in any trim level for the 08 model year. I think we are both in agreement that the rear view camera was an option for 08

Just another nail in AA's coffin. Cooled seats were not available on any trim level for the 08 model year. They first showed up on the 09s.

And rear view camera not until 2009 as well:
New for 2009 GMC AcadiaThe 2009 GMC Acadia is powered by a new direct-injection 3.6-liter V6 engine with VVT that produces 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque, mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Heated/cooled front seats with perforated leather are available on SLT-2. When not equipped with the optional navigation system a rear backup camera is offered with a display integrated into the inside rearview mirror. Two new exterior colors are added, Quicksilver Metallic and Silver Green Metallic.
So if I read this correctly; you could only get a rearview camera on non NAV equipped models???

On NAV equipped vehicles, the camera display is on the NAV screen. On non-NAV vehicles, the camera display was integrated into the rear view mirror.

Right I get that, maybe it's just not explained well enough for me to understand I highlighted some blue text in my previous post but it only talks about non NAV equiped vehicles having a backup camera offered...... Oh forget it; I need a or 10 at this point
