So of course I had to look at the photo enlarged and yes it does look like the Grinch with a penis on his head. I have now put my kids Grinch that Stole Christmas DVD in the recycling bin!

What do you guys think of these? I think the Carbon Blacks are more likely to choose these. I have looked at them but just not sure how I think they will really hold up.

Thoughts?

Ok... I know I'm strange... but does anybody else see (the reflection of the last carbon fiber trim picture) in the tall skinny tree - the Grinch with a penis on his head?

haha... good observation!

these pillars look great! I was going to suggest buying carbon fiber vinyl to save some $$$. But I don't think you'll save much for that price and the best part is those appear to be actual laminated carbon fiber. I'd definityl go for those rather than CF Vinyl.

I take full Blame and CREDIT Grin When you put those on the vehicle and they look good, if they look bad, I don't know anything about this topic.... Please post pics and opinions on them when you get them. I am going to think about this one.

I see the grinch, but only because it was pointed out to me... Very odd.

I'm a fan of carbon fiber too, so I would prefer those over the chrome pillar posts.  However anyone else think they will look out of place being that there isn't any other carbon fiber anywhere on the car?  Maybe not, as it would be subtle.

I hear ya, but I think that the carbon fiber might look more in place then the easy scratching of the black plastic that is there now. We shall see how it looks when we get the photos.

Wouldn't mind seeing a night shot with those led lights on the side steps.

These are the best shots I have so far, I will keep trying!

I think you need to take some night shots under minimal lighting conditions and w/o the flash. MUST HAVE steady hands!

I just saw a carbon on my way home and thought of you guys.  It had silver pillars.  The were VERY shiny and matched the crome look.  They had taken all of the red off the emblems and had changed them to chrome as well.  If it had been stopped I would have snapped a photo.  I really liked the look.

I know this might not be a good description, but it looked cool without being overboard.  It would have been too blingy on my color, I think.

Ok here you go, photos of both! It's been a busy week for the Acadia had the tranny flash done, P.A.L. installed, and put in the K& N Air Filter, plus the carbon posts.
