It's all relative, I suppose.  The 2000 Olds Silhouette minivan that I traded in for the Acadia had a sticker of $32k.  But I hadn't bought a new car since the late 80s/early 90s so I had sticker shock for a coupla weeks.  facepalm

I'm on Long Island...Suffolk Co.
I don't see too many Acadias by me. I like that. Grin

I'm in Plainview.  See tons of them.  But that's also a good thing.

Salutations from Cape May County, NJ.  We have been seeing alot more Acadias around here lately. I've seen a couple Enclaves used as tow vehicles behind some land yatches.  After looking up the basic price of the land yatch, the Enclave would just be chump change.   Grin

Hello from Southern New England!  We've had our Acadia since November and have been very pleased.  Looking forward to our yearly summer pilgrimage up to Old Orchard Beach!

Another Long Islander here!!  I'm from south west Nassau county and  I'm on my 2nd Acadia.  Had an '07 SLT2 and just got an '11 Denali.  Can't believe that I missed this thread.  Been here since 4/07 but some how never replied to this thread.   facepalm

Oh well, howdy to all!!   Cheers

Just an FYI- I saw somewhere a poster said that someone had the EZ Pass mounted in the same spot as he did.  If you put the transponder in the dash compartment over the radio, it is out of sight and there is no problem with having it read when going thru tolls.  I have been doing this for 4 years now.

My EZPass is mounted on the license plate - the exterior model.  Hate the sight of it on the glass but you seemed to have solved that one.  Nice. thumbs up

Nice - what was wrong with the 09?

Noting really "wrong" with the 09 it was very reliable.  But it had less features than my Envoy I traded for it.  Plus the Denalis we saw were really nice.  I had purchased the 09 and had a 6year term and didn't want to keep it that long.  Had to buy because GM did not offer leasing in 09. I started seeing Denalis at some of the dealerships and I started pricing them and the numbers were just too good to pass.  I actually got a lower lease payment than my purchase.

Residual values are strong I suppose keeping the lease payments low.  Good if you stay within the mileage allowance.

Hello from Long Island (NYC area)...

I had originally intended to get a 2012 Chevy Traverse (but didn't love the nose and rear design), then wanted an Acadia SLT, but eventually we gave in to the lure of the Denali.
It's technically my wife's Acadia, but I'm smitten (and paying for it, figuratively and literally) - hence the reason I'm on this forum and she isn't.  wink

We bought ours from Burns GMC (100 miles away from home, in Marlton, NJ) on Aug 29th.  It was such a great experience and I can't talk up this dealership enough!  thumbs up
We ended up in NJ because it was the only pace in the Tri-State area that had the exact configuration and options for which we were searching (quite literally all across the country), and it was too late to place a factory order.

...Well, just wanted to post a formal salutation and couldn't think of a better place than this Topic.

Ciao
