Hello from Brunswick, ME, I'm glad they made a regional board it tends to make things easier to sell/buy parts and set up meets.  Anyone else from my neck of the woods? I see Acadias everyday around here so I know your out there.

Not quite as North or East as Maine, but hello from New Jersey!

I see lots and lots of Acadias around here (and Saturn Outlooks too... not too many Enclaves though) so I know it's a popular car 'round these parts!

Central CT here. We have several Acadia's cruising the local streets. Including a friend close by who unknowingly happened to get almost the same exact vehicle as us. When ever I see it, I wonder why this person is driving my wife's vehicle?!?!  Grin He even has the EZ Pass in the same spot.

We got our Acadia in February. Aside from the gas costs, it is a great vehicle! We currently are getting around 18 mpg. A little less than the van we traded in for it.

Hello from Westchester County, NY.  In the process of unloading my 4-year leased Yukon and getting into an Acadia.  Should be in either an '08 very soon or may order a 2009 for delivery in late-August.  Can't wait.

I sure will.  I just got the fax today with the order information from the dealership and hopefully next week they will have a build date.  I will keep you posted.  TG

Hi!  I'm from Connecticut and I ordered a 2009 SLT-1 last week.  The information I learned from reading posts on this forum was invaluable.  I knew much more about the 2009's than the dealer. Thanks to everyone for their insights.   thumbs up

Hello from VT.  I have had my 2008 Acadia for about 3 weeks now.  It replaces a 03 Envoy XL.  It has met the needs of my family of 5 very nicely.  I hope we continue to enjoy it.

It's all relative, I suppose.  The 2000 Olds Silhouette minivan that I traded in for the Acadia had a sticker of $32k.  But I hadn't bought a new car since the late 80s/early 90s so I had sticker shock for a coupla weeks.  facepalm

Salutations from Cape May County, NJ.  We have been seeing alot more Acadias around here lately. I've seen a couple Enclaves used as tow vehicles behind some land yatches.  After looking up the basic price of the land yatch, the Enclave would just be chump change.   Grin

Another Long Islander here!!  I'm from south west Nassau county and  I'm on my 2nd Acadia.  Had an '07 SLT2 and just got an '11 Denali.  Can't believe that I missed this thread.  Been here since 4/07 but some how never replied to this thread.   facepalm

Oh well, howdy to all!!   Cheers

Just an FYI- I saw somewhere a poster said that someone had the EZ Pass mounted in the same spot as he did.  If you put the transponder in the dash compartment over the radio, it is out of sight and there is no problem with having it read when going thru tolls.  I have been doing this for 4 years now.

My EZPass is mounted on the license plate - the exterior model.  Hate the sight of it on the glass but you seemed to have solved that one.  Nice. thumbs up

Nice - what was wrong with the 09?

Noting really "wrong" with the 09 it was very reliable.  But it had less features than my Envoy I traded for it.  Plus the Denalis we saw were really nice.  I had purchased the 09 and had a 6year term and didn't want to keep it that long.  Had to buy because GM did not offer leasing in 09. I started seeing Denalis at some of the dealerships and I started pricing them and the numbers were just too good to pass.  I actually got a lower lease payment than my purchase.

Residual values are strong I suppose keeping the lease payments low.  Good if you stay within the mileage allowance.

Hello from Long Island (NYC area)...

I had originally intended to get a 2012 Chevy Traverse (but didn't love the nose and rear design), then wanted an Acadia SLT, but eventually we gave in to the lure of the Denali.
It's technically my wife's Acadia, but I'm smitten (and paying for it, figuratively and literally) - hence the reason I'm on this forum and she isn't.  wink

We bought ours from Burns GMC (100 miles away from home, in Marlton, NJ) on Aug 29th.  It was such a great experience and I can't talk up this dealership enough!  thumbs up
We ended up in NJ because it was the only pace in the Tri-State area that had the exact configuration and options for which we were searching (quite literally all across the country), and it was too late to place a factory order.

...Well, just wanted to post a formal salutation and couldn't think of a better place than this Topic.

Ciao
