Based on the thread listed below, lets find out how many people that own the Acadia are happy with it. http://www.acadiaforum.net/forum/index.php?topic=3298.msg41322;topicseen#newJust wanted to point out that the first vote not including mine was posted in like 5 seconds from the start of the thread. I wish there were a "100%, 75% happy, 50% happy, 25% happy 0% happy" options. I would be 75%-- DH would be 100%.
Sorry, I just hate yes or no, because I am rarely 100% or 0% ANYthing!

I understand what your saying, but I won't change the poll. Based on the thread/topic that I referenced, I just want to know if people are overall happy with the purchase. I am not looking for the percentage of happiness, becuase people could then say; I am happy with the color, but don't like the seats cause the plushness of the leather on my precious is not as comfortable as I like it to be. Then you end up with a topic full of people on a I am looking for the plain old answer of yes or no. did you make a mistake and regret it, If your less then 50 % happy, then answer NO.

Bonk, would you mind adding the option to view the results without voting for those of us who don't have their Acadia yet? I'd like to see how this one turns out without skewing the results by voting just to see the results.
Thanks!

Don't get me wrong I love how the acadia looks and the features and the interior. But I got a bad apple. I still have problems with my steering making noise so I'm going to take it back in again. This is trip #4. It only has 4500 miles. This service department has a couple more shots then I'm taking it elsewhere. But I'm getting really pissed. I put down good money up front for this and financed it to deal with these issues is crap. I could have just bought a Kia!
<End Rant>
I hope they can get my issue fixed.

I've had my Acadia for a year and 2 months. I absolutely LOVE it. Its not too big or too small. I'm impressed with how "peppy" the V6 is. I have 2 little kids and I still have plently of room for other stuff and people. I ditched an Xterra for the Acadia and it was the best decision. I've heard of a couple of people who continually have problems with theirs - I have not - and I have 11k miles on mine now. Of course, there has been the minor "kinks" and recalls but this is a first year vehicle. I guess I should say was since 08's are out. I have an SLE model, but am currently looking for some new sneakers - size 19 to roll on and in about another year (if I can wait that long) I'll have leather put in. I'll feel like I have a new car again!!

I voted NO! I won't say I'm happy until the transmisssion problems are resolved. My transmission shifts more frequently than a politician changes his/her mind. I've had the tranny reflashed on 2/4/08, but now I have to bring it in for another service to see why it downshifts then upshifts 4 to 5 times going up a 1/4 mile moderate grade. One downshift and hold 5th until cresting the hill would seem to be the right thing (IMO). All other things are great, but the tranny is driving (no pun intended) me crazy.

How about some less black-white options? Something like "sort of happy".
Overall, I'm happy. But I've had enough little problems (water leaks, problems with the retractable shade for the sunroof that they still haven't figured out how to fix, broken lumbar support, seat track problems, transmission problems, bad experience with expensive mud flaps, etc.) that I'm not sure I would do it again.

I am happy with the car. It has given us no problems. It's probably too big for our needs, but that's not the fault of the car.

It's been close to 2 months since I last drove my Acadia. The power steering cooler failed and I'm still no closer to getting any results from my local GM dealer here in Northern Alberta, Canada. Gone from loving the vehicle to hating it. Where's the help GMC Canada??
