Motor Trend has a spy photo of the proposed new 2017 SRX. Article also mentions it is on a new CHI platform that will be used for future Lambdas. If true we will not see new models until 2017 and they may be smaller and possibly have some 4 cyl power.

This needs to be moved to another section - it's other Automaker News. Please post in the proper section of the forum.

It's only a speculation mentioned in passing. The base article is about the Cadillac.

If the Acadia had of been smaller I would not have bought it.  I had an Acura MDX and wanted the larger cargo area.

Of course in 2 more years I may no longer want/need to haul as much "stuff."   It also may be a good size for my wife.

I tried to get her into a new SRX just after we bought the Acadia.  I failed as she is so attached to her Cadillac DHS.

I looked at the SRX before I bought my Acadia....love the exterior styling but it was just too dang small inside... I am in the position where I no longer need to haul much stuff but find I still do like the larger vehicle.....now one I reach the position where I do not have to haul any stuff I'm going for the CTS-V
