Since I do not have a WSJ subscription I could not read the whole article.

So I did some searching and found this:

That is okay some papers, like the NYT you can visit 20 times a month online before you need to get a subscription, or register.

I expect sooner or later all newspapers will require everyone to register.  Our local paper does on some articles and if you have a subscription you can get around that.

Okay anyway the additional article I found is this what the WSJ was indicating?

If it ends up looking close to that picture, I think I bought my first and last Mustang.

I would not buy the 2015 as does not appear to have any trunk space for my gear.  I will be hinting in Fall, to sell my 06 for new one...12 or 13 black.  I finally saw my friends 67 Shelby Cobra in his garage last night, which he has had since 73.  430 HP but says it is probably closer to 500 HP with cam and polished ports.  He was working on replacing the valve cover gaskets.   He has a 2010 Shelby Cobra GT 500,  too.  He has no intentions of selling the 67.  He retired from GM when they closed the plant here in town 3 years ago.  I was in shock seeing his 67 after pulling the whole cover off and got to touch it!   Cheers

The 2010 is parked in front of the 67 in his garage and was working on the valve cover gaskets last night.  He said he has not had the 67 running for a time, but is working on it to get it going again. I did not ask him for time frame.  Otherwise it is buried in the rear end of the garage with little light.  Also,  has piles of tools and tires in that section.  I will ask him next Thursday or Friday when I will see him at his home, if I can get some pictures of it in his garage.  All he has to do is back out the 2010 which he drives regularly.  I can get pictures of the front end and under the hood if he has everything reconnected...etc.  I did ask him about if it needs 102+ Octane and said he gets 104 Octane in town for 7 or 8 bucks a gallon.  I will try and remember next Thursday or Friday as I am picking him up in my measly 06.    Bang Head    Car is deep blue with white racing stripes with other Shelby exterior fiberglass kit.  Says the hood is fiberglass which was pretty advance in those days.  Has the side rear air scoops that are functional and he explained that and I forgot.   I had forgotten over the past 5 years he had this car.  I had never been in his garage until last night.  He is a real pack rat too!

Probably not.  You can buy higher octane from stations that carry it.

Cap....unable to get pictures right now. I picked him up this morning and the third car he has in his garage is a 1984 SVO Mustang, first year.   The 2010 Shelby I said he had is a 2008 with now 6,000 miles,  he bought in 2011.   I have your note on file and this summer he will have all 3 out for pictures.  He showed me pictures of his 67 Shelby from a picture album this morning.  Ya, sweeet.  He has been so busy with his wife's medical needs and now waiting biopsy report on him.  Then has a rental house he has been trying to fix/make changes the past 4 months.     I see him once a week when we have shooting competition at the club.  He also wants me to take pictures, so just have to wait.  I can't wait until he takes me for some RIDES!

Hard to believe that even the Dodge Challenger is outselling the Mustang right now.  The Comaro is stomping all the competition as you would expect but it's nice to see Dodge finally doing some great things and the Challenger is the car I would go for if I had the money.  The markup on the Challenger isn't anywhere near as bad as it is on the Comaro though the Comaro will hold it's value better and be the more collectible between that and the Mustand or Challenger.  To me the Comaro is more of a sports car, the Challenger is more of a muscle car and the Mustang falls somewhere in between.  If I was going for the Ford I'd love to have one of those Shelby GT 500's.

Too funny,  I just fell off my chair.   Grin   But the truth.   But I did Ziebart rust proof mine with sound deadening on the under carriage to get longer life on my 06 Pony.  I put snows on it and drive year round.  I can get 2 adults and 2 kids in mine.    thumbs up

Nice Undy.  What year and model?

I want a 2013, but $$$$ says I have to keep my 06.   Wife's Acadia still comes first if we decide to replace down the road.   Last Saturday's special on Shelby via Velocity TV was really informative.  Now there is a 700hp Shelby if you have the $$$.  I still like the Mustang body sleekness and low profile over the boxy Camero.
