Hello to all I have a 2009 GMC acadia slt1 with the sunroof option and wanted to find out if anyone knows where the drains exit this vehicle at the bottom and diagram of the actual sunroof setup. Also for maintenance, any issues with using compressed air into the drain tubes at the top of the sunroof to clean any obstructions could possibly collect at the bottom? booyeah2010

The drains cone out behind the front wheels. You could certainly blow low pressure air through the tubes to clear any debris; that might save you from a water leak

Open your sunroof, pour some water in the drain holes and watch where it comes out underneath the car.

I had my first leak yesterday after leaving the vehicle outside overnight in a strong storm. woke up to a puddle on the floor and water spots on the headliner near both a pillars. Ended up blowing out the tube with air from the compresser, seemed to work pretty good, got about 6-8 oz or so to pour out onto the garage floor that way. Was really surprised how much water came out. checked the water tray again tonight after having it sit outside at work and everything was dry so hoping that took care of the problem. Planning on making this a regular maint. item going forward

Blowing out the tubes is a good idea; although I would make sure you use low pressure air

125 psi and then the tubes detach; your problems just doubled themselves

I do not know of anyone having taken photos of where the drains exit. I am pretty sure there are drain lines running down the A (front), B (middle) and C (3rd row) pillars. (I had leaks in all 3 areas with the 07 Outlook) So perhaps by looking beneath in those three areas you may find where they exit.

Pour some water around the front sunroof and see if any water comes out behind the front tires
