Burning smell coming from rear tire/brake area?

Hi,

Tonight when I got home , I could smell a burning scent from my passenger side rear tire. Nothing really obivious when I checked it out
Any idea?

Calipers do stick on occasion. Do you know what hot brakes smell like? Its kind of hard to describe, but does have a characteristic smell.

How many miles on your Acadia?

08SLT1, FWD, Summit White, Ebony leather, sunroofs, DVD, power liftgate, remote start, rear sensors

Hi I have 60,000 Kms and the brakes were serviced a 49K( when I bought the car)

Have you looked for anything you might have 'picked up' on the highway, like bits of plastic bag/wrapper, etc.? Maybe a trip to a high-pressure carwash is in order to clean the wheels and exposed parts would help to see if the problem is with the car or something else.
