I was considering purchasing an Acadia, the pricing seems very reasonable for a vehicle of this size and comfort.
I occasionally (3-4 times a year) take my car to the track on an dual axle open car hauler with electric brakes. The hauler weighs about 1900 lbs, the car about 2700 lbs. I don't have that much gear, maybe 100 lbs of stuff and usually go by myself. If I find an Acadia with the towing package they supposedly have a 5200 lb tow rating. Do you think it will a sufficient tow vehicle?
I also am looking at Tahoes but they are much more expensive and use more fuel and I don't tow that often. Most of the time this would be my daily driver.
Opinions or thoughts?
