My salesman told me my new Denali had Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) since it had the Driver Alert II package. Turns out that isn't true :banghead:, but the Driver Alert package does include the forward looking camera and laser but the ACC option is part of the Technology Package (which I don't have).
So I'm wondering, since I have the forward looking camera and laser, could the ACC just be a software upgrade, and if so, where would one get this?

Guess someone didn't do their homework before buying a car. Talk to your dealer. That's probably the only place you can get an answer to your question. Right now, there's a lack of any aftermarket add-ons for these cars
Re: Adding Adaptive Cruise Control (2017 Denali)/do I have adaptive cruise?
I as also confused about this. reason being, here is a complete lack of proper info in the owner's manual on the left side steering wheel controls and what means what. I mean, yes, most of it is common sense, but the only thing I could find was a button in the same place as one I have that was labeled adaptive cruise control, and when I press it, it changes a setting called "following distance". so, no, it's not lack of homework, it's a really, really, ridiculously bad job of properly marketing/labeling things. I don't understand how the owner's manual isn't properly informative on this matter.
I just bought a 2017 Acadia Denali with 15k miles and I assumed it had the ACC because it has the driver alert II package as well. Did you happen to figure out a way to add the ACC to your car?
