Hello folks, apologies up front for my first post being a problem post, but a bit frustrated. We just picked up our 2017 Acadia Denali late yesterday. On the way home with it from the dealer (and only about 20 minutes from home after an hour of driving) I tried the adaptive cruise control. It displayed the message "Adaptive Cruise Control Temporarily Unavailable". I turned it off and on several times and then I thought it might just be due to the light rain and the outside sensors being wet. I went out this morning and turned the car on and have the message "Service Driver Assist System". Love the vehicle and all the bells and whistles. I will take it in on my first opportunity, just sad this happened after not even a 100 miles and hope it is not a sign of things to come. -Glenn

:welcome: and sorry to hear about that. The problem may disappear for a while. Have it checked out, along with any other such complaints, when you go in for your car's first maintenance service.

Welcome to the world of cars with more electronics than an Apollo lunar lander. A failure right out of the box is not all that rare. Most likely a loose connection, a bad sensor or module. Drop it by the dealer and let them take a look.
Thanks Divotdug. Yep, I have had several new cars over the years with more computers than Hogan had goats. This really is a nice car and we enjoy everything about it, just a bit disappointed that something is not working correctly with less that 200 miles on it. We will get it looked at soon.

Update - First Post/Problem Already

Well, we got the Acadia back yesterday and everything is working now. They had to call in a Field Service Engineer to troubleshoot/repair and they had the car for over a week, but we have it back now. Still very much enjoy it and hope that was just a small bump in the road during our ownership. They found a ground wire not connected in the rear of the car and a bent pin up in the camera behind the rearview mirror that were causing the issues.
