Trying for short story :
CEL on for long time. I've had (2009 SLT AWD) since around 40K, and it's currently at 111K.
I have my own code reader module, but dealership AND exhaust shop also verified it's both streams' O2 sensors.
Dealership est. $1600-2000 to replace all cats and sensors.
Exhaust shop (a trusted one), does test and finds cats are running at right temp/efficiency and O2 sensors are at least doing their job as far as current goes, but he tells me he did "just a little research" (where, I have no clue) and found something about an ECU/PCU reflash that changes the parameters from whatever restrictive setup comes from the factory and is tripping that CEL.
Since the dealership RECENTLY shot me the estimate for replacing EVERYTHING, I'd like to have something other than a one-sentence theory from, essentially, a competitor to go in with. But I'm finding jack on these intertubez.
Does any of this ring any bells or anything with the masses of AcadiaForum.net?
