I have a 2012 acadia, 78,000 miles

In June the car started sputtering, flashing all sorts of lights (stabily track on/off, engine light, traction control) smoke came out of it. We had three different people look at it. None could find anything. The third was the dealer. He sent us home with an i don't know what happened. A month later, the same exact issue minus the smoke but this time reducing power. The dealer looked at it again and said I needed a new alternator.
Fast forward to September, same issue, dealer said this time it needed a fuel pump and some coils. Now in Feb it happened AGAIN, this time they said it needed a software update. And here I sit two weeks later and now it's back. 4 codes showed (I can't recall them) but something about a fuel sensor? They keep saying it must all be separte issues. I find it very hard to believe that my car has broken down 5 times in 8 months all with separte issues but same symptoms. I'm not a car person, but I'm also not stupid.

I am DONE! I feel like the dealer is guessing at what's wrong.

Any guess, similar issues? And hope.

Thanks

Do you really expect an educated guess with that kind of information? :hilarious:

It tells us nothing!

Maybe this guy can help.

Oh yeah, :welcome:
