Having some work done....how does this quote look?

Hello All

I'm finally getting around to do some maintenance items on my '08 166k miles

Brakes all the way around
Shocks/Struts all the way around
Plugs

I got a quote for $946 (parts/labor), hows that sound?

Quite the 'grocery list!' Sounds pretty fair when someone else is doing the work.

**** good price considering what's involved with the 'plugs and the struts. I've seen full brake jobs go into the $500+ range, just for replacing the F&R pads on standard/domestic cars. I wouldn't pay it, but I've known a few people who have.

I'd actually get that quote in writing.

Could be a fair price. Is the strut price for "quick" struts? What is included in the brake job?

Pair of front struts with the coil spring, I guess that is what you mean by "quick"?

Brake Job
Front/rear pads
The front rotors are warped so the price includes turning them if he can, otherwise there will be additional $ for rotors ($63 each), back if needed.

Ready Mount- quick struts are a packaged deal.
Strut with new coil and all mounting hardware.

No need to compress the factory coil- and swap over all the parts.

just remove the old assembly as a whole- and pop in the new one.
