Hard to start when warm

My 2012 Acadia has developed a starting (or lack of starting!) issue after it has warmed up / run for awhile.

After turning the key.... any one of the following occurs:

-Starts normal, also known as having a good day
-Hard / labored cranking for several seconds, but eventually does start, also known as slightly worrisome
-No noises, no cranking, nothing.... must leave it for hours and try again

I don't even know where to begin The engine was recently out to have the timing chains replaced, seems to have started following that repair. Any idea where I could begin with DIY, this is an already traded-in vehicle, that I'm still driving until the 2017 eventually arrives.

Re: Hard to start when warm

Sounds like an intermittent electrical problem. I'd start by checking cable connections at the starter and making sure they're all tight.
