Fuse and Relay box options

Wondering if anyone has ever attempted to put the 25918908 V92 fuse/relay block in an 07 or 08 Acadia. I've been trying to find the 25856252 but cannot fine a used one or on ebay. Not really wanting to pay $200 for it to add the towing package to my Acadia. Just wondering if anyone has attempted or had them both in hand to see what the differences are. I can get 25918908 on line for about $80 and compare to mine.

Yes, I have done it.

The differences?... Non V92 is missing trailer light fuses and the wires/connectors for you to add the fuses. Hence, you can't just add the trailer light fuses to your non-v92 fuse block.

Re: Fuse and Relay box options

I know that you did the fuse box change from a non V92 to a standard V92 for the 07 and 08. That is the 25856252 box that you used. What I am wondering is about the V92 box that they call out for the 09, the 25918908. I am wondering if they just put a new number on it or if it is different from the V92 box that was called out for the 07 and 08. Your posts have certainly been helpful to me so far.

Re: Fuse and Relay box options

oops, sorry gtomkins. I didn't know the part number was for an 09.

Sometimes, they are the same part with an updated part number. Have you tried giving 25856252 to your local GM parts dealer or www.gmpartsdepartment.com and see if they can find an updated part number that matches 25918908.

Re: Fuse and Relay box options

I don't believe that the 09 version will work in the 07-08 models.

I purchased a V92 box from Ebay that was listed as 07-09 Acadia. The GM part number is 25909568. There has been a change in the box that I believe makes it unusable on 07-08 models. This box was missing fuse and relay connections for my fog lights, not just the fuse and relay but the connections underneath. (Circled in Yellow) The big change is that there is no fuel pump relay and fuel pump fuse. There is now a FSCM fuse (Fuel system control module) The open spots and the FSCM fuse are circled in Red. The open spots are listed as "Stop lamp china only"

On my 08 Acadia SLE which has fog lights. (circled in Yellow) The Fuel pump relay and fuel pump fuse are circled in red as well as the spot where the new box has the FSCM fuse. This is listed as a spare in my box.

Will be returning fuse box to vendor.

Re: Fuse and Relay box options

All that makes sense since fuel delivery is different on 09's because of the DI engine. Thanks for the reply
