Add-A-Circuit switched power?

Hi. I have a 2010 Base Acadia. I recently purchased an overhead DVD system that requires a 12V switched source (as to not run down the battery when car isn't on) I have used the Add-A-Circuit before with no issues. I am trying to locate a 12V switched source located within the interior fuse box..... but I'm having NO LUCK!!!! What is the best place to tap into a 12v Switched source I can splice into any wire just fine, but id prefer to use the Add A circuit that I have already purchased..... ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!!!!!!! all my wires are on the passenger floor side.

Re: Add-A-Circuit switched power?

Have you looked for that info in your Alldata manual? If it's not there, electrical info should be available in the service manual - probably for factory-installed DVD players. There's a link to a file download for the manual in several threads of this forum. for "manual download" and be sure to use the quotes. Good luck!

Also, look through the forum for threads about finding switched power near the overhead console. That could be an option for you.
