Fuse box

Can someone please tell me how to find the fuse box? I'm trying to check the driver's power seat fuse. Thanks

Re: Fuse box

IIRC; there are two fuse locations on the vehicle; one of them I know is in the engine area, passenger side. The other I'm not too sure. I would recommend opening the owner's manual since this shows all fuses located in the electrical system and go from there

Re: Fuse box

The other is inside the vehicle, passenger side footwell, under the glovebox, far right. PITA to get to.

Re: Fuse box

I found it, thanks The fuses are really hot so I can't seem to snatch it out of there. Is there a way to take the glove compartment out?

The glove box is removable, but for the life of me I can't seem to find the thread that talks about it. I know I have removed mine to take out the cabin screen. What concerns me is that you mentioned the fuses are really hot; that doesn't seem right to me

Did you really mean this? Or, did you mean hard to reach? There is usually a fuse puller inside the fusebox that might be an assistance in removing the culprit fuse.

Re: Fuse box

There's two thumb screws for the glove box. turn those and it drops down.

Re: Fuse box

Thanks everyone. I was able to drop the glove compartment down a bit, which helped add a little working room to check my fuse. Bad news is, I guess the fuse isn't the problem. Now I don't know what's going on with my seat. It won't move...no sound...nothing

Re: Fuse box

I believe there is a wiring harness or connector under the seat, check if it has become disconnected.

Edit: Found some more info from one of GeoHawk's posts:
