Re: Lambda's

The problem with "waiting for the numbers" is that people are gun shy now that everyone is waiting to find out what the government will do with the bail out. I had heard (some where) that the Acadia was going to stay since it was one of the big sellers. I am so tired of people being short sighted. I hope the engineers fight this one, the Acadia is great!

Re: Lambda's

This is right up, and par for GM. I was reading an article today that they are looking into adding a Caddy version with a V8. They want to make a GMC pickup to replace the Caddy EXT. and the Chevy Avalanche. They make great vehicles, but don't pay attention to what we want. I had an Avalanche, and loved it. 2 things I enjoyed, are the steps built into the bumper, and the cladding, which are no longer available. So it doesn't surprise me to hear this rumor.

Re: Lambda's

That article, in Internet time, is an antique. It's from June. The world has changed quite a bit since that article was written ...

Having said that - the GMC lineup is staying around, and I would expect that there will be a next-gen Acadia, whenever a Lambda refresh happens. It's still the best-selling Lambda.

Re: Lambda's

You're right , I have seen articles that show both. I want the Acadia to be around for a long time, I'm sure the bailout and sold numbers will help to keep it around. Also GMAC has said they will start offering financing for those with credit scores at 621 and above.
