2017 Crimsom Red Denali

Just drove her home, was a tossup between a White Frost and the Red. Wife has always wanted a red car.

First impression is it's nice. Not a home run but a solid double. IMO the 2-2-2 seating configuration is probably only going to be good for smaller families that only use the 3rd row for short drives or 3 couples that don't want to take 2 cars.

Seems to have more than enough power.

will come back after we've driven it awhile..

Have to update my profile,

Couldn't agree more. The 2-2-2 is the exact reason I decided to go with another brand instead of our 2nd Denali. With 3 teens, the 2-2-2 doesn't work with any cargo, including a Target bag.

It's been said in other posts on the 2017 Acadia. The new size will not be for everyone. The 2-3-2 seating may work for a family of 5 with smaller children or one with a big age gap between the oldest and youngest, where the oldest doesn't go with the family much.

Re: 2017 Crimsom Red Denali

While shopping for my next car, I was reviewing the 2017 Acadia Denali on the GMC Build Your Own site. I was surprised to see that there is NO color the car can be built with that ISN'T an up-charge! The cheapest is $395, then $495, and tops off at $995 depending on what color you choose.

You may want to check the colors at the dealer. The wesbsite sometimes doesn't show all the available colors. I was on a live chat with a GMC rep and he said the website is there to give customers an idea what the vehicle will cost. At one time it was showing a Dark Cherry as being available and now it's not showing.

Re: 2017 Crimsom Red Denali

OK, I'll do that. I'll probable be going to see another Acadia at a different dealership this week. Already talked to the salesman to let him know what I am looking for. Remember, I had a rough running 3.6 in the other 2017 Acadia I test drove at a different dealership a week or so ago.

Yes, I remember you said the one you drove had a vibration. We've got approx. 4500 miles with no engine issues.

Did you tell that dealer of the rough idle and going to another dealer? Or didn't you want to work with them?

I think his lease is up in June or July and he's just checking out the new Acadia to see if it works for him,

Do you mean the original dealer where I drove the car with the rough idle? If so, yes, I told her I would be checking out a different V-6 somewhere else.

She didn't have much knowledge of the vehicle, even though she has been there over 6 years according to her. This was also the vehicle that had 750 miles and the OLM was showing something like 43%! She had no clue what I was showing her!
